The article deals with the engagement of Russia's youth in charitable activities, and particularly, in monetary donations. It examines the amount and frequency of donations, forms of monetary donations and the major areas of donations as well as determinants of charitable activity, such as socio-demographic and economic factors, religious affiliation, and values. Also, the study focuses on youth engagement in volunteering, including domestic chores, support in fundraising activities, emergency assistance, professional services, etc. In conclusion, the author profiles the attitudes of young Russians with regard to charitable giving.
