This book provides an information about sexual selection and it's role in th eorigin of modern species of animals, as well as humans. Sex and gender are two sides of one coin, replecting our complex biosocial nature. Different male and females dtartegies in traditional societies are demonstrated, as well as thier associations with reproductive success and social status. The reasons of permanent presence of a numbe rod gender stereotypes in traditional and modern societies are discussed.
