Стратегии агрессивного и постконфликтного поведения, размеры тела и дистанция общения у детей
The article presents the results of a study carried out using direct non-included observation at playgrounds in Moscow. 141 conflicts were recorded (78 episodes between boys, 26 - between girls, 37 - in mixed sex pairs) of children aged 5 to 12 years. The purpose of the work was to analyze the strategies of aggression and reconciliation based on direct observation of the behavior of children in Moscow in natural conditions, taking into account the body size of the participants in the conflict (relative to each other) and spatial behavior. Analysis of the data obtained the importance of morphological (sex, body size), psychological (used strategies of aggression and reconciliation) and spatial characteristics of a person in the expression of aggressive and post-conflict behavior. In this relationship, this phenomenon is being studied for the first time. Despite numerous studies on the relationship between body size and aggression using psychological questionnaires, our data do not support the earlier obtained results, but confirm the idea of an imbalance of forces between the aggressor and the victim and indicate that in most cases the aggressor is taller and larger than the victim. Also, the paper noted a high conciliatory potential of children - they quickly and actively reconcile in most conflicts, the aggressor initiates reconciliation more often. It is indicating that children understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of the group, balance in communication with peers. The distance of communication at the beginning of the conflict and during reconciliation was also investigated.
