Per astra ad aspera: рецензия на монографию А.В. Кузьмина «Онтологические, эпистемологические и методологические предпосылки возникновения моделей космоса в европейской астрономии до середины XVII века»
The review examines the latest monograph by A.V. Kuzmin describing history of the development of philosophical prerequisites for the formation of the cosmologies in Europe since the Late Paleolithic era to the 17th century. The author of the review makes a number of critical remarks regarding the content and structure of the work. The review analyses success of fulfilling the goals stated by the author in the title and introduction, as well as of pursuing the philosophical discourse. The review also highlights the unexpected and productive arguments of the author in the monograph regarding the issues of history of astronomy and philosophy. By using the examples from the text of the monograph the review examines the author's successful or unsuccessful arguments. In the conclusion of the review, the heuristic and scientific significance of akin studies in general is assessed.
