The book includes materials on the results of a series of regional round tables “Knowledge about politics: how to get it and where to apply it?”. The events were held from September 27 to October 12, 2019 in 20 regions of Russia, covering all federal districts of the country. The organizer was the Council of youth political scientists of the Russian Association of Political Science.
The book contains written abstracts, transcripts of speeches, as well as analytical descriptions of key events of all round tables. The main topics covered by the participants: understanding of the concept of “knowledge of politics”, especially the profession of political scientist. Also discussed were sources of acquisition and methods of processing information and knowledge, problems of political science education, the scope of application of the knowledge and skills of a political scientist, and the social activity of youth scientists.
The book is intended for political scientists, everyone who is interested in the problems of political science and the development of the political science community.
