Есть такие профессии людям помогать: к вопросу о профессиональной идентичности педагогов и врачей
In this article, we examine the process of shaping the professional identity of doctors and teachers. The aim of the study is to consider the general transitions that individuals undergo in the process of formation of their belonging to the profession. The methodological basis of our research are biographical interviews with medical doctors and teachers in various pedagogical fields (n=16). During the analysis of the interviews, we identified two macro contexts in the identity development of teachers and doctors: personal and social. Based on this, the authors propose 5 main transitions that are important in reaching full professionalism in one's individual career. This study reveals many similarities in the development of professional identity, but also shows some barriers and the complexity of the analysis, which provides a wide field for discussion.
