Cultural characteristics of Digital Ecosystem Product Teams and Operational Efficiency
The purpose of this article is to analyze and evaluate the cultural characteristics of the digital ecosystem product teams leaders and operational efficiency. Using binary choice models (the main conclusions were made on the basis of logit regressions), has been found a significant negative relationship between the probability of achieving business goals by a team and the leader's attitude to the distance of power and uncertainty. Power of distance and aversion of uncertainty likewise affect the probability of a team falling within the planned spending budget. In addition, a positive relationship has been found between goal fulfillment and a manager's view on collectivism. Thus, the partial effectiveness of using the G. Hofstede classification for modeling the operational efficiency of digital ecosystems and the selection of team leaders is proved. The sample includes 101 observations from the team leader's answers on G. Hofstede classification indicators. The questionnaire consists of Hofstede's indicators description and grade from 1 till 10 to assess influence of indicators in analyzing teams.
