Decision support system for improving the quality of life of the population

Procedia Computer Science. 2026. No. 287. P. 590–595.
Aleskerov F. T., Chaika E., Дерендяев А. Б., Kosychev A., Myachin A. L., Semenova A., Tkachev D., Вайншток А. П., Yakuba V. I., Zontov Y.

Under conditions of dynamic socio-economic changes, effective planning and decision-making are key factors in ensuring a high quality of life for the population in territories. This paper presents a decision support system for territorial administrations for the development and implementation of sustainable development strategies, using one of the regions of the Russian Federation – the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – as an example. The paper considers a description of the decision support system (DSS), including the use of analytical tools. It is expected that the implementation of the proposed approaches will increase the effectiveness of managerial decisions and, consequently, will make it possible to improve the quality of life of the population. The work is intended for specialists in the field of management and social design, as well as for representatives of local self-government bodies interested in improving the quality of life in their regions.
