Подходы к принципам корпоративной социальной ответственности и ESG в России: на примере ведущих институциональных акторов
Corporate social responsibility (CSR), the ESG agenda and the concept of sustainable development are significant elements of the discourse and management practices of Russian companies. The principles of CSR are based on universalistic approaches to the relations between big business and society with the disclosure of information about this aspect of the companies' activities. The principles of CSR are criticized for their colonialist and hegemonic nature, which allows global Western capitalism to dominate the countries of the South. After numerous sanctions, Russian businesses found themselves disconnected from Western markets and are changing their approaches to CSR. Institutional actors that act as expert centers in the field of CSR also found themselves in a difficult situation. The article is devoted to changing approaches to the principles of CSR and ESG in the Russian context under the influence of sanctions and deglobalization using the example of the transformation of the activities of leading institutional actors in this area, including the specialized committees of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Association of Managers of Russia, etc. A critical review of international publications on CSR and ESG is given. The situation in Russia is studied based on the author's empirical research. The principles of CSR and ESG in Russia are considered in the analytical perspective of the colonialist approach, attention is paid to the role of institutional actors producing expert knowledge.
