This collective monograph examines the transformation of the cultural memory of war in contemporary Russian cinematography, as well as its perception by young audiences. It analyzes the degree of reflexivity in this perception, the audience's response to the ideological message, and the emotional and aesthetic components of films, which are combined within the logic of mediatization. Based on the results of the sociological research conducted by the authors, the differences in the perception of films about the Great Patriotic War by schoolchildren, students of history and non-history specialties are recorded.
It is of interest to sociologists, historians, researchers of culture, as well as specialists in the field of social and youth policy.
