Любимый район: к вопросу о привязанности к городу
In this paper we study the problem of "meaning vacuum" of Moscow space. We try to problematize the basic opposition "center - periphery". Due to the description of this opposition and the role of the Centre we reconstruct the space-network organization of meanings that the townspeople (in our case, students) put into a story about their favorite places in the capital. From the standpoint of methodology city is as a fluid object constituted with stable 'meaning core' and constant mobility of relations between its components. This fact forces researchers to use stable displays in Euclidean and network space of urban fluid processes. As a result, we try to search for changeable links between 'I' and places of attachment. On the basis of these links we carry out analytical distinguish of linear and areal structures - pathways and regions. Finally we gather some statements about meaning morphology of Moscow.
