To the Question of Digital Transformation of Local Government Bodies
P. 733–738.
The authors attempt to analyze some issues concerning the digitalization of municipal management. The author indicates what problems exist in this area at the present time. At the same time, progress has been made in the digital transformation of local authorities. It is utterly important that the “e-municipality” and “smart city” technology are noted. Thanks to modern digital technologies, it has become possible to effectively use large amounts of data, so that it leads to making informed management decisions to optimize the use of all types of resources. The authors appeal that in the current digital era, when modern information technologies have penetrated almost all spheres of life, municipal authorities should introduce all the best technological solutions into their activities, since it is thanks to them that the quality, availability, and clarity of their services will increase the effectiveness of local government.
