The dynamics of interlevel relationships in language (constructive ideas for educational purposes)
The article surveys new insights into second language writing process of university students. One of the main issues relates to the effects of own-language use on writing in English as a second language. Special attention is devoted to logical and grammatical aspects of the English sentence as compared to the typical sentence in the Russian language. Logical - grammatical word order interaction in terms of linguistic system constitutes part of written discourse ideas generation. Based on the assumption that this interaction is inherent to human language of any structure but manifests itself differently in syntax, the Russian language is involved as a tool of analysis.
The results imply the priority of logical word order over grammatical word order when they interact in the writing process of both languages discussed. Syntax as a structural means of forming ideas is flexible enough to perform this function effectively, even in a language with a fixed grammatical word order organization.
