The article proves the relevance of the concept of «education strategy» in order to study the behavior of social groups in the field of education. Based on the analysis of the General properties of strategic behavior the author’s definition of the term is introduced. An overview of the existing traditions of the study of educational strategies is provided. The specifics of the determination of educational strategies of social factors and conditions of the educational environment is described.
