This article presents new methodology for the analysis of rhythmic organization of one of «big poem» by Brodsky «Edification» (1987). The mechanisms of the relationship of rhythm and composition of the text are analyzed. The stanza form, serving as a basic compositional unit of the poem, is investigated in terms of «rhythm framework».
