Th e article examines various approaches to the purposes of state control. Th e author comes to a con-
clusion about the presence of the three main objectives of state control: the rule of law, ensuring the
implementation of government policies, and provide feedback. With respect to internal control, the
implementation of these goals has features associated with the orientation of internal control to im-
prove and maintain the eff ectiveness of the system of public administration.
