The textbook is aimed at developing a comprehensive understanding of the legal regulation of control and supervisory activities in the Russian Federation. Practical assignments are aimed at developing minimum legal skills for building one's own assessment of various actions and decisions of public authorities and officials within the framework of control and supervisory activities, as well as comprehensive understanding of the place and role of control and supervision in the modern activities of public authorities, and the mechanisms of influence of control and supervisory activities over the entire public administration system. The texbook is prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education. It is intended for use by students of the enlarged group of training areas of Law, the ones studying the discipline "Control and Supervisory Activities of Public Authorities". It will also be useful for state (municipal) employees and other persons working in the field of activities requiring legal training in terms of regulating the procedure for organizing and exercising control and supervisory powers by authorities and officials at the present stage of development of a unified system of public authority.
