«Всемирная глобальная деревня» Маклюэна как коммуникационная доминанта современного медиапроцесса

Throughout history, global processes and their consequences exist inextricably linked with society and directly affect the life of any individual person. In addition, they undergo constant transformations, changing their significance, intensity and severity of consequences, and also exist in close interconnection and interdependence from each other. Over time, it becomes more and more impracticable not to be involved in the global culture of individual epics. The relevance of the chosen topic is explained by the fact that the information space only expands every year and reaches the most remote points of the planet, and the problem of global processes and their consequences is more acute than ever. In this paper, the authors made a deep analysis of the work of G.M. McLuhan "World Global Village" as a communication dominant. As a result, it was revealed that today one can observe the complete convergence of the media and informatization, reaching the most remote points of the planet, so that the “World Global Village” is still rightfully considered one of the communication dominants and partially determines the further formation and development of society.
