The requirements for the skills and abilities of specialists are changing in the labour market due to processes of production digitalisation and the transition to new technologies. The availability of a workforce with the required qualifications is critical to stimulating economic growth. In October 2021, the Government of the Russian Federation approved the federal project "Development of human resources in the IT industry" of the national programme "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation", which is being implemented as part of the set of initiatives for the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation until 2030. In the conditions of changing technological trends, the task of timely adaptation of educational programmes of higher educational institutions to ensure the training of specialists adequate to the needs of the labour market becomes important. The study offers tools for the intelligent analysis of job data to identify relevant skills and abilities required in the labour market. Based on the case of the IT labour market and data collected from the hh.ru service, the key skills indicated in the vacancies posted on the website were analyzed and job clustering was performed. The proposed approach can be used on a regular basis by educational institutions to update the curricula of educational programmes.
