The article presents the results of approbation of “Athletic identity measurement scale” by B. W. Brewer for Russian-speaking sample. Throughout the approbation, we proceeded translation and validation to Russian language. To check construct validity correlational analysis between athletic identity and life satisfaction, self-efficacy was held. The respondents are people from 17 to 60 years old with different level of involvement into sport activity. The results of the study showed that the questionnaire has high validity
