YAN NEIMAN (1946–2017) is an acknowledged master of the academic sculptural school of St Petersburg. He is known as the author of over twenty monuments, memorial plaques, and architectural-sculptural compositions in St Petersburg and other cities. These works together with his smaller scale sculptures, graphic works and drawings have established his reputation as one of the most gifted contemporary Russian artists.
