In this article we are talking about how in different cultural contexts expressed in the human right to resistance, and how this right to fix the political and philosophical thought. One of the forms of resistance, which analyzed in this article, is a riot. Analys of political and philosophical views of a number of authors, as well as an appeal to political memoirs, allow us to see a special relationship to the right to revolt, existing in different cultural and legal traditions. Cultural differences also affect the perception of a rebellious person, as well as on the validity of his claim to the satisfaction of the of expectations. The human right to resistance in a number of cultures is lasting value, which is reflected in political practice. In other political and legal systems, the right to revolt is not eternal value, that does not slow to affect the trajectories of the development of political processes.
