С.Н. Глинка в споре о «старом» и «новом» слоге русского языка в начале XIX столетия

The article is devoted to a position of the famous in the early of the XIX century play writer, poet and journalist Sergey Nikolayevich Glinka in a discussion about an «old» and «new» style of the Russian language. The dispute was an important feature of the Russian socio-political life at this period and touched upon not only linguistic questions, but also huge socio-political problems. Linguistic opinions of the supporters of the «new» style were associated with a liberal socio-political persuasion, whereas the «old» style advocates were conservatives. Sometimes, however, the elements of these linguistic conceptions might have interlaced in the texts of the one author. The article is analyzed one of such cases using example of S. N. Glinka’s writings.
