The publication focuses on the self-perception of representatives of the top income decile in Russian society, including how they perceive their social status and position. The factors shaping these assessments are examined. It is shown that high-income Russians do not always identify themselves as “wealthy.” Particular attention is paid to their attitudes toward social inequality and its manifestations.
