This textbook is an introductory course on intercultural communication theories, written in English. The theoretical foundations are combined with a system of exercises and assignments aimed at developing students' critical thinking, communicative, and sociocultural competencies, allowing them to study intercultural communication as an academic discipline while simultaneously developing their English language skills.
This textbook is intended for undergraduate students in the following programmes: 45.03.02 "Linguistics", 44.03.01 "Pedagogical Education", and 43.03.02 "International Tourism". It is recommended for teachers of foreign languages and related disciplines interested in culture and intercultural interaction.
