Роль КПВ в развитии литературы в период обновления: обогащение традиций, заложенных Хо Ши Мином
The article examines the policy of the VCP in the field of literature during the period of Renovation. It is noted that over the past 35 years significant improvements have been achieved in this field. Many of them are directly attributed to the role of the VCP, which attaches particular importance to the spiritual sphere, considering it to be an important basis for the internal political stability of the society, as well as for the country’s socio-economic development. The author concludes that the principles on which the modern cultural policy of Vietnam is based trace their origin to the ideas of Ho Chi Minh, and the VCP creatively develops them from the perspective of current conditions, tasks and opportunities. Due to the fact that culture is closely linked to ideology, it was revealed a very important mission for the VCP — to neutralize negative phenomena in the field of literature and art, to successfully resist the powerful pressure of Western culture, which does not always have a beneficial effect on creative processes in Vietnamese society. It is also noted as a new trend that in recent years, the economic situation in the country allows Vietnam to more actively promote its literature abroad.
