The article describes a computer program to study a foreign vocabulary by using the method of interval repetitions. The results of the testing show that the developed program allows significant increasing the number of assimilated foreign words in comparison with the standard method of memorizing; the effectiveness of the program is especially noticeable with the increase of the training period.

In this work investigated to refine estimates of the values of gamma-percentile life Tr.γ optic cables. Calculations have shown that, depending on the different applications (Instrument Cluster, temperature, etc.) and parameters (length of the cable, etc.) There is a significant change in the values of gamma percentile life. This allows you to say that there is a need for such calculations in the design of fiber-optic data transmission systems.
