Качественное исследование целеполагания как личностного процесса
In the psychology of motivation, approaches focused on studying the characteristics of goals and considering goals as a unit of personality analysis have become widespread. At the same time, the problem of exactly how goals are set remains unresolved. The authors pose a research question: how subjectively does goal setting proceed? An exploratory qualitative study was conducted by using the semi-structured interview method. The sample consisted of 13 respondents. The data analysis was carried out by reflexive thematic analysis. There were 4 topics describing the process of setting goals: the context of goal-setting; goal-setting mechanisms; goal criteria; changing the goal. The results are discussed into the framework of modern conception of motivation and personality.
