2021–2023 a collective of scholars united by the Center for Rescue Archaeology of IHMC RAS
carried out large-scale works on the 3D recording of a number of Early Byzantine churches in the
Near East. 19 objects associated with 9 historical centers situated on the territory of Syrian Arab Republic
were studied during the implementation of the project. The data obtained in the course of this
work served as the basis for 3D models, measuring drafts, analytical descriptions and historiographical
studies. The data is published as an open geoinformation system and database available online.
The paper presents the methodologies of surveying, processing and publishing the digital data used by
the authors.
