Экологические системы и приборы. 2022. № 12. С. 55–64.
The article presents the results of numerical simulation of the dynamics of solitary internal waves’ ensembles in a stratified (vertically inhomogeneous) ocean for hydrophysical conditions close to those on the Indian Ocean shelf. Ensembles of unipolar and bipolar solitons, as well as solitons and breathers with random amplitudes and phases are considerate. Estimates of the statistical characteristics of wave fi elds, which are important for assessing the ecological state of the sea, are given.

Objective of the study is to assess the provision of all settlements in four regions of the Russian Near
North (Vologda, Kostroma, Kirov, and Yaroslavl oblasts) with social infrastructure facilities and to
analyze whether the migration balance of settlements is associated with varying levels of provision of
these facilities. The study is based on data collected from open ...

A 2D model of an InGaAs/InAlAs single-photon avalanche photodiode has been developed. The influence of the active area structure in the multiplication region on the diode’s operating parameters has been studied. It was found that changing the diameter of the structure’s active region leads to a change in the dark current in the linear part ...

Comprehensive data on natural hazards and their consequences are crucial for effective for risk assessment, adaptation planning, and emergency response. However, many countries face challenges with fragmented, inconsistent, and inaccessible data, particularly regarding local-scale events. To address this data gap in Russia, we developed an end-to-end processing pipeline that scrapes news from various online sources, ...

Cloud shadows lead to alternating light and dark periods at the surface, with
the most abrupt changes occurring in the presence of low-level forced cumulus clouds.

obtained from eddy-covariance (EC) measurements at an unmanaged sedge-grass marsh
ecosystem (Tˇreboˇn, Czech Republic, 49°1′ N, 14°46′ E), seeking methods to improve the EC
measurements in inhomogeneous environment. The data filtering procedure was developed
using three thresholds: (a) a stationarity test; (b) a stability u∗-threshold; and (c) a high relative
humidity RH-threshold. ...
