This article uses the example of post-war architecture of Georgia to highlight the problem of finding and developing national styles in the republics. A special feature of the architecture of this period is the combination on the one hand — the ideas of ensemble construction and the increasing tendency to typify construction; on the other — the desire of architects to create a nationally recognizable style. All these installations were implemented by architects in completely different ways, explaining the diversity of architecture of this period.
