Интер-энциклопедия: когнитивное интервью
Cognitive interview helps to return the original meaning of aerobatics in a sociological study. Cognitive processes in interviews start with the interpretation of the question and its constituent terms, include the stage of forming an opinion and developing a judgment about it and ends with the editing of the answer. The tasks of the cognitive interview are to explore concepts, words and concepts of everyday language; to extract meanings, associations and emotions related to the subject of the study; to detect barriers blocking the respondent's presentation of his position; to assess confidence in one's opinion, as well as willingness to correct one's point of view; to form one's understanding of the "everyday theory" of the phenomenon being studied, etc. You can build an original cognitive interview strategy for each task, but it is important to understand what we are studying, what the result should be and what the research team will do with it.
