Роль обратной связи в выборе стратегии категоризации
In this paper, we studied the influence of the form of organization of feedback on the choice of a categorization strategy in the formation of new categories. The subjects were distributed into one of two conditions based on the ratio of the semantics of the word and feedback: in the expected condition, with the correct answer, words from the semantic group «joy» were presented, and if incorrect, from the group «sadness»; in an unexpected condition – the opposite. According to the hypothesis: with an unexpected ratio, the subjects will prefer to use one categorical attribute during the course of learning (strategies of the «unidimensional bias» type), and with the expected ratio, the subjects will prefer to use the strategy of orientation to a set of characters. To determine the strategies of learning, we used the backward learning curve. As a result, our hypothesis was not confirmed: the most common strategy in each condition was to focus on one categorical attribute. These results indicate the absence of influence of the semantic feedback organization on the choice of a categorization strategy.
