Смысложизненная направленность личности у селфи-зависимых девушек

The work studies the hierarchy of the meaning of the life orientation of the personality of
18-20 year old girls who have and do not have the selfie-dependence. The phenomenon of selfie is
considered from the point of view of its content and approaches to assessing its positive and negative
aspects that affect the personality characteristics of the subject. The period of adolescence differs
primarily in the process of personal self-determination, the search for the meaning of life and
the construction of a life perspective. The selfie-dependence as a form of addictive behavior can
disrupt the full-fledged formation of these age-related neoplasms. D. A. Leontyev’s method was
used to determine the specificity of the sense of life among girls with selfie-dependence. The results
of the study showed that in the group of selfie-dependent students of the university, the indices of
such components of a sense of purpose, such as goal setting, perception of the life process and evaluation
of the effectiveness of life, were significantly lower than in female students with no selfiedependence.
This may indicate a lower level of meaningfulness in the value of these tasks, as well as
the lack of a general tendency to build one’s life perspective.
