The chapter is devoted to a critical analysis of the economic theories of unemployment in the postwar period. The influence of changes in theoretical concepts on the labor market policy in developed industrialized countries is also examined. The economic crisis of 2008-2009 introduced some new alterations in the employment policy measures. The general conclusion is the following: the institutional structure of the labor market is one of the main factors that determines the scope and dynamics of labor market indicators in the changing economic conditions.
There are analyzed such forms of dependant condition which turn to be of the exploitation kind in the specific circumstances, which take place outside the formal milieu of the person, that is the sphere of domestic living, leisure, the intimate and other social relations, also that is the sphere of private relations in the field of solving the local disputes, arising from the retained burning issue with the criminal situation in the country in the article. The author defined the propositions of criminal law protection securing from the stated kinds of exploitation.
We address the external effects on public sector efficiency measures acquired using Data Envelopment Analysis. We use the health care system in Russian regions in 2011 to evaluate modern approaches to accounting for external effects. We propose a promising method of correcting DEA efficiency measures. Despite the multiple advantages DEA offers, the usage of this approach carries with it a number of methodological difficulties. Accounting for multiple factors of efficiency calls for more complex methods, among which the most promising are DMU clustering and calculating local production possibility frontiers. Using regression models for estimate correction requires further study due to possible systematic errors during estimation. A mixture of data correction and DMU clustering together with multi-stage DEA seems most promising at the moment. Analyzing several stages of transforming society’s resources into social welfare will allow for picking out the weak points in a state agency’s work.
In article the concept of training of specialists in the field of management of human resources of master level is considered. Relevance and demand of such program locates. Features of the present stage of preparation of such experts are analyzed proceeding their requirements of the international labor market.
There are analyzed the encountered in the title kinds of exploitation, uncovered its social danger and given the criminal legal characteristics, pointed out the ways of counteraction in the article. The author substantiates the conclusions concerning the freedom from such kinds of exploitation and the measures of combating encroachments on this freedom. There is shown the significance of the civil society institutions for the relevant areas of penal policy.
These proceedings represent the work of contributors to the 13th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ECIE 2018), hosted this year by the University of Aveiro, Portugal on 20-21 September 2018. Economic crisis started in 2008 forced companies in Russia to move from growth and expansion to reduction and restructuring. The article presents the main changes at top managers’ labor market from the beginning of crisis in Russia. The original data on top managers’ mobility in Russia from late 1999 till 2009 was used. The main result of the research is that there were no big changes in Russian top managers’ labor market during the crisis years (2008–2009). The most significant change was the increase of firm’s demand for specific human capital of top managers and the decrease of demand for general human capital.
