The article is devoted to problems related to the sustainable development of society. The Sustainable Development Goals were formulated by the UN, which the Russian Federation supports and implements in accordance with national interests. The use of Big Data technology to obtain information about the social problems of citizens from open sources and unified open data helps solve the problem at the moment with a perspective for the future. Automatic data processing systems, due to their ease of use, provide ample opportunities for researchers. The attractiveness of such tools for sociologists is that the researcher does not need to have special programming skills; analytical resources have a fairly simple and intuitive interface and are capable of solving a wide range of problems. However, the use of existing commercial multifunctional analytical systems in sociological research requires additional methodological research from the sociological community. The article is of interest to specialists involved in the problems of sustainable development of society, the methodology of using multifunctional analytical systems in sociological research.
