The research is devoted to the implementation and protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms in the context of the development of the entire complex of modern information technologies. The author's concept of improving the mechanisms for ensuring the implementation and protection of the main categories of individual rights and freedoms has been developed, and the basic principles of public law regulation of the relations in question have been formulated in their close relationship with ethical self-regulation, as well as with the adoption of strategic planning documents. The author considers the issue of codification and systematization of information legislation, which causes acute discussions in Russian legal science, through the prism of the realization and protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms.
