Пауль Клее, Ламарк, Мандельштам: о герое стихотворения Тарковского «Пауль Клее»

The article examines A. Tarkovsky's poem "Paul Klee" (1957). Comparing the metrical subjective and compositional organization of the named poem by Tarkovsky with O. Mandelstam’s poem “Lamarck” (1932), the author of the article comes to the conclusion that “Paul Klee” is a variation on a theme set by the older poet, and the true hero of Tarkovsky’s poem turns out to be not the Swiss artist, but Mandelstam himself. The comparison of "Paul Klee" with other poems of the Tarkov era of the 1950s-1960s allows us to draw a conclusion about how the fate and work of Mandelstam were perceived at that time.
