This paper raises an issue of the reflection of soviet modernity in an interactive text. Within the case-study of video game Atomic Heart, the difference between the historical soviet temporality and its perception in modern culture is revealed. It is concluded that in the ludic text, the temporality of the 20th century can be transformed in a special way. The text suits as a core for further intertextual enhancements, namely the artifacts of the real historical period and the elements of other narratives recognized by the player. They appear in a transfigured form proving that the fictional world does not reproduce the epoch but reflects on it.
