"В КАЖДОЙ МЕСТНОСТИ СВОИ ЗВУКИ ЕСТЬ...": ЗВУКОВОЙ ЛАНДШАФТ СЕЛА НЮКСЕНИЦА В ВОСПРИЯТИИ МЕСТНЫХ ЖИТЕЛЕЙ
The article presents the results of the anthropological field research of Nyuksenitsa the village (at Vologda Region) soundscape specificity. The main goal of the authors was to identify the interrelation between the Nyuksenitsa residents’ local identity and complex of meanings (according to M. Lally, “the identity of the place”) which they attribute to certain elements (according to M. R. Shafer, “soundmarks”) of the local soundscape. The article presents both theoretical conceptualization of the studied phenomenon and empirical data analysis. Based on the results of data analysis 4 categories of soundmarks, which form the sound portrait of Niuksenitsa the village, were identified: sounds of nature, instrumental sounds, people’s voices and the silence. In order to substantiate the relevance of a turn to multisensory approach in the perception of environment studies the authors deliberately place their methodological reflection in the final part of the article.
