«Когда умирают люди — поют песни»: память, нарратив, идентичность
The article examines a mutual relationship between memory, narrative and identity in the philosophy of Paul Ricoeur. The author reveals them in the context of the formation of narrative identity that provides the life with a teleological fnitude and understanding of the past using the generalizing concept of capable human being. Narrative identity is understood not only as a way of refective self-interpretation, but also as a guarantor of healthy, responsible relationships with the Other (in the historical perspective as well). Thus, the need to consider memory within the framework of narrative identity can be traced at three levels: (a) the level of the internal confguration of memory, (b) the level of selfinterpretation, (c) the level of collective memories.
