The phenomenon of nostalgia is discussed in cultural studies and social theory from the second half of the 1960s. And despite the appearance of a whole series of classic works of Zygmunt Bauman, Fredrik Jamieson and Franklin Ankersmit, the amount of research on this problem in the years 2010-2020 is only growing. These studies are devoted not simply to specific cases, media or regions, but also to important theoretical problems that unite the studies of memory, the history of emotions and the discussion of temporality.
