Дополнительное образование и внеучебная деятельность для развития навыков (5 том доклада «Глобальный ландшафт исследований и перспективных разработок в области укрепления человека»)
The education system is traditionally considered by researchers as a set of institutions that were formed, first of all, in order to create opportunities for the maximum development of a person's potential and abilities, increasing the likelihood of personal well-being and success. With the increase in the coverage of the population with education, the analysis of differences between people who, from a formal point of view, have the same level of education is becoming increasingly relevant. We are interested in this question, due to the fact that in the modern education system, as well as in the world as a whole, the possibilities of a person to achieve well-being by their own efforts are expanding. Thus, we are particularly interested in those aspects of education that are not mandatory and should be the result of a person's direct independent choice, such as additional education for children and optional opportunities at the university, which are largely focused on the most popular today's results. This volume of the report shows that a person's choice of additional education (not only by the child, but at a certain stage by his parents), as well as optional opportunities during university studies, often turns out to be decisive in terms of strengthening a person, forming his potential and abilities, as well as accumulating resources for subsequent development.
