Кун-цзы цзя юй (Речи школы Конфуция): К выходу русского перевода А. Ю. Блажкиной
The book by A. Yu. Blazhkina includes the first complete European and the first complete Russian translation of the ancient Chinese Speeches of the School of Confucius (Kong-zi jia yu). Its compilation is attributed to a Confucian scholar Wang Su (195—256). The book also includes introductory sections on the history of the text of the monument, which has long been considered fake. The results of A. Yu. Blazhkina’s research on the philosophical topics of Kong-zi jia yu make up a separate section of the book. The reviewer comes to the conclusion that the translation has a philosophical orientation and as such will be in demand for research not only of ancient Confucianism, but also of Neo-Confucianism. Some additions and clarifications on the study and translations of this monument in Europe and Russia are provided, perspectives of Confucianism studies proposed by the author are highlighted. Ru jia zhe yan (Confucian Wordings) as Kong-zi jia yu prototype’s character and nature are specified.
