Взросление в провинции: через ответственность за других к ответственности за себя
The focus of this article is the interpretations about growing up and growing up among citizens of small and large cities in Russia. The authors mainly analyze the features and markers of growing up in cities with a population of up to 200 thousand people (on the example of Belorechensk, Vyborg and Kamensk-Uralsky) with the age of 28-33 years and 38-4 years. Further, using data based on previous article [Kravtsova, Kuziner, 2022], common features and differences in the idea of adulthood among the older group of millennials in cities and towns are revealed. Scholars explore growing up from the point of view of ideal-typical (society's expectations) and individual (one's own interpretation) models of growing up. By ideal-typical, we mean the generally accepted model of growing up - coming of age, an impeccable education, starting a career, getting married, starting a family. An individual model the own perception of one's age and stage of life. The authors come to the conclusion that from among the major representatives in the representation of the older millennials of cities and towns is the definition of "responsibility" as an adult category. Residents of cities should first be responsible for themselfs, while responsibility for their families and children are the main feature of the adulthood for the residents of the provinces.
