The collection includes the articles by Russian and Vietnamese scholars who participated in the international online conference devoted to «75 years of DRV: historical retrospective». It explores some issues related to the August Revolution, defending of Vietnam’s independence, the subsequent construction of a new State in all spheres and the protecting of its achievements (1945—2020). The articles are divided into five sections. The first deals with Vietnam’s current international policy. The second one is devoted to the socio>economic development of the country. The third section analyses the history of the August Revolution, opening some unknown pages. Articles of sections 4 and 5 examine processes in education, culture and language with regard to preservation of national values.
The collection is focused both on scientists, teachers and students studying Vietnam and Russian-Vietnamese relations, practical experts specifically involved in the development of relations with Vietnam, as well as a wide range of readers.
