Воссоздание характерных черт идиостиля В. Блейка при переводе “The Book of Thel”
The article covers an approach to recreating the characteristic features of a poet‘s idiostyle during translation of a poet‘s selected work with due consideration to intertextual connections with the other works of a poet and his peculiar worldview. It is also shown that translation decisions are premised on pre-translation interpretation of images and implicit meanings of the original work. Coherence of elements inside the work also plays a decisive role in analysis. We believe that in-depth interpretation of a poet‘s ideostyle is the first step for a translator on the way toward adequate recreation of the original key features without substituting a translator‘s own idiolect for the author‘s idiostyle. The paper examines one of the early works of the eighteenth-century English poet William Blake, his prophetic work ―The Book of Thel‖, and its translated version.
