This textbook is designed for students improving their Spanish proficiency at levels B1-B2. It consists of five topics and a selection of texts to reinforce them. The first topic covers the morphology of the four tenses (present, perfect, imperfect, subjunctive perfect) and exercises on the formation of forms. The remaining topics are devoted to exploring the various meanings in independent words (deseo, duda, and probabilidad), substantive words (opinion, influencia, sentimientos and deseos, constataciones and juicios de valor), relative words (referencia), and adverbial words (tiempo, finalidad, causa, condicidn I, condicidn II, consecuencia, objecidn, and dificultad). This edition stands out for its emphasis on the study of the expressed meaning in specific situations of verbal communication in colloquial speech, rather than on the mechanical reproduction of verb forms depending on the presence of modo subjuntivo markers.
