The article examines new words in Chinese language, inspired by the ideology of the construction of ecological civilization. On the basis of the work reports of the government in 2016 and 2017 years we analyze the features of the political discourse of the 5th generation of Chinese leaders, led by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. The accurate analysis of the neologism in the ecological sphere helps to identify the basic laws of modern word formation in the Chinese language. The political discourse of the "Xi’s era" is characterized by active linguistic creativity, systemic and multifaceted construction, the existence of a hierarchy and links between the concepts and the complexity of the approach, combining political, economic and environmental aspects.
