Гл. 4. С. 27–33.
The article examines the parallels in the ethical views of Aristotle and Nikolay
Chernyshevsky. The author proves the statement that Aristotle was an intellectual
teacher of Chernyshevsky. Chernyshevsky called Aristotle and Spinoza one of the few
thinkers who followed the anthropological principle, although they did not use this
term to describe their views on a human being. Special attention is paid to the analysis
of the notions of “love for oneself” and “reasonable egoism”. The author concludes
that Aristotle’s fundamental text “Nicomachean Ethics” has influenced the formation
of Chernyshevsky’s ethical views.
